What time of year can I take a lesson?

We will be teaching lessons January-May 2022 for this upcoming season. Classes are scheduled 7 days a week. All lessons are weather dependent.

Is kiteboarding safe?

Absolutely! But there can be unsafe riding conditions and wind directions. Wind speeds between 14-25 MPH are the best for learning with minimal gusts. When learning its highly advised to go out on nice days with an nice sea breeze and avoid stormy days until you have enough experience. During your lessons you will learn how to launch and land your kite safely, when and when not to go out on the water,

What do I need to bring to my lesson?

-A swimsuit is the only thing required. If you own your own wetsuit please bring it, otherwise we will get you fitted with a wetsuit.

-Booties or tight fitting water shoes is also something you can consider bringing. Many people kiteboard barefoot, but if you have sensitive feet a pair of booties would be good to bring

-Signed Liability Waiver. All students must have a liability waiver signed before starting any lesson. A signed waiver can be emailed in advance or brought with you to your first lesson.

How do I schedule?

After purchasing a lesson package, you will be contacted for scheduling. We are flexible and can accommodate your schedule within relationship to the wind conditions.

especially during the beginning and end of the season, sometimes the wind can be scarce and you may have to wait a few days until the next window of kite able wind.
